Primary 1 Lesson 11

This week, our students will be diving into the world of Shapes and Patterns. This exciting lesson will encompass the following key areas:

Understanding shape patterns
Combining different shapes
Practising and mastering commonly tested problem sums related to shapes.

This will be a fun and engaging learning experience for your children.

Primary 2 Lesson 11

This week, your children will embark on their first lesson on Length. They will be introduced to the following concepts:

Estimating the Length of everyday objects.
Measuring Length using rulers.
Basic arithmetic operations.
Comparing the Length of different items.

This lesson will provide a strong foundation for future studies on this topic.

Primary 3 Lesson 11

This week, your children will be starting their journey with Money. They will learn the following essential concepts:

Converting money into different denominations.
Basic arithmetic operations with money.
Solving problem sums that require finding the right combination of different monetary denominations.

This lesson will provide a necessary foundation for solving problem sums involving money.

Primary 4 Lesson 11

This week, we will revisit the topic of Line Graphs, Bar Charts, and Tables, first introduced in Primary 3. The primary objective is to enhance students’ skills in reading and analysing data presented in various formats.

Key Learning Objectives:

1. Interpreting Bar Graphs:

Understand how to read and extract information from bar graphs, recognising the relationship between categories and their corresponding values.

2. Analysing Line Graphs:

Learn to interpret line graphs, understanding the of data points and their connections.

3. Reading Tables.

Develop the ability to read data presented in tables.

Primary 5 Lesson 11

This week, we will be revising the concepts taught in previous lessons.

The concepts we will cover are as follows:

How to use differences to solve problem sums.
Shortage and surplus
Quantity Internal and external transfer
Fractions problem sums

Primary 6 Lesson 11

This week, students will be working on the topic of Angles. Our research has led us to identify four typical methods that schools use to assess students’ understanding of angles

Finding unknown angles within a figure.
Calculating the sum of multiple angles.
Finding angles using ratios.
Finding angles related to folding.

The lesson will lay the groundwork for comprehending how angle questions are tested. By mastering these four concepts, we are confident that students will be well-equipped to tackle a wide range of angle-related questions on exams.
