Primary 1 Lesson 36

Next week, we will start a new topic, “Multiplication”.

In this lesson, we will introduce the fundamental concepts of multiplication. Our main objective is to help students understand the concept of equal groups in multiplication and division. We will emphasise the distinction between different arrangements of objects, such as recognising that 2 groups of 5 are different from 5 groups of 2.

By exploring equal groups and their relationships, students will develop a solid foundation in multiplication, which will be further expanded upon in future lessons.

Primary 2 Lesson 36

This week, we will embark on a comprehensive revision of previously taught topics and concepts.

The topics and concepts we will cover are:

  • Mass
  • Money
  • Time
  • Fractions
  • Whole numbers

Primary 3 Lesson 36

In this lesson, we will focus on heuristic problem sums, with a particular emphasis on the following topics:

  • Fractions: We will delve into problem sums requiring the application of part-whole models and comparison models. These two concepts are one of the most commonly tested. Additionally, we will revisit how operations with fractions can be applied in various problem-solving contexts.
  • Measurement : The students will work on problem sums under Volume, Mass and Length. The main goal is to strengthen their understanding of comparison models by units and value, ensuring they fully grasp these topics.

Primary 4 Lesson 36

This week, our focus will be on revisiting previously taught topics and concepts.

This lesson is designed to consolidate learning and strengthen understanding in the following areas through problem sums:

  • Whole Numbers
  • Time
  • Fractions
  • Quantity Transfer
  • Supposition
  • Pattern


By engaging with these concepts through practical problem-solving, students will reinforce their proficiency in these diverse areas.

Primary 5 Lesson 36

This week, our primary focus will be on revising and preparing our students for the upcoming year-end exams.

“Select Papers” is a compilation of concepts and topics commonly examined across various schools. It has consistently proven to be an effective tool in preparing students for their upcoming exams. In this lesson, we will cover a broad spectrum of these essential concepts.

 

Furthermore, the lesson’s “Additional Practice Paper” enhances our student’s preparation for the coming exams.

Primary 6 Lesson 36

This week, we will continue with PSLE Revision Lesson 10.

This lesson will involve a systematic review and practice of essential topics, concepts, and problem-solving methods commonly tested in the PSLE. We aim to strengthen students’ understanding, problem-solving abilities, and confidence as they prepare for the upcoming examination.

Active participation and completing the assigned additional practice exercises are crucial for effective revision. These exercises are designed to align with the PSLE requirements, providing students with valuable exposure to the types of questions they may encounter and opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills effectively.
