Primary 1 Lesson 37

This week in Lesson 37, we will continue our exploration of “Multiplication 2”. Building upon the foundational concepts of multiplication, we will delve into further reinforcement and problem-solving related to multiplication.

During this lesson, our focus will be on:

Strengthening the understanding of multiplication as repeated addition and its relationship to equal groups.
Introducing problem sums that involve multiplication, providing students with practical applications for this operation.

Primary 2 Lesson 37

In lesson 37, we will start on a new topic – Volume.

In this lesson, we will be focusing on several fundamental concepts that form the building blocks of understanding volume:

Grasping the Essence of Litres (L) and Millilitres (ml) – Exploring these units of measurement to quantify liquid volumes.
Navigating Additions and Subtractions Involving L and ml – Developing skills to perform mathematical operations with volume measurements.
Engaging with Problem Sums Involving Total Concepts – Applying the acquired knowledge to solve practical problems that require a comprehensive understanding of volume.

Primary 3 Lesson 37

In Lesson 37, we’re excited to introduce a new topic – “Area and Perimeter”.

In this upcoming session, our focus will be on building the foundational understanding of Area and Perimeter. Specifically, we will cover:

Distinguishing the Difference between Area and Perimeter.
Calculating Areas and Perimeters of Squares and Rectangles.
Determining Length and Breadth in Squares and Rectangles.
Exploring Areas and Perimeters of Polyominoes with Grid Lines.

Primary 4 Lesson 37

Primary 5 Lesson 37

In Lesson 37, we will continue with revising and preparing our students for the upcoming year-end exams. The topics and concepts we will focus on are:

Fractions – part and whole
Fractions – remainder theory
Area of triangles
Rate table
Grouping
Percentage (GST/Discount)

Primary 6 Lesson 37

This week, we will continue with PSLE Revision Lesson 11.

This lesson will involve a systematic review and practice of essential topics, concepts, and problem-solving methods commonly tested in the PSLE. We aim to strengthen students’ understanding, problem-solving abilities, and confidence as they prepare for the upcoming examination.

Active participation and completing the assigned additional practice exercises are crucial for effective revision.
