Primary 1 Lesson 41

In lesson 41, we will introduce the new topic of “Money”.

In this first lesson on Money, our focus will be on the fundamental financial concepts. These concepts include:

Money Conversion
Denomination
Combination of Money
Equivalent Money Values

Additionally, we will cover problem sums involving money transactions.

Primary 2 Lesson 41

This week, we will embark on a new topic: “Graphs”. Our main objectives for this lesson are:

Reading and understanding data from a table: Students will learn how to interpret information in a table format. They will develop the skills to extract relevant data points and comprehend the relationships within the table.
A systematic approach to graph questions: We will focus on equipping students with a systematic approach to tackle graph-related questions. This approach aims to minimize confusion and prevent careless mistakes. Students will learn strategies to analyse graphs effectively and extract key insights from visual representations.

Primary 3 Lesson 41

n Lesson 41, our primary focus will be revising and preparing our students for the upcoming year-end exams. Our approach will use the Matrix Math revision resource “Select Papers“.

“Select Papers” is a compilation of concepts and topics commonly examined across various schools. It has consistently proven to be an effective tool in preparing students for their upcoming exams. During Lesson 41, we will cover a broad spectrum of these essential concepts.

Furthermore, the lesson’s “Additional Practice Paper” enhances our student’s preparation for the coming exams.

Primary 4 Lesson 41

This week we will continue with “Area and Perimeter” lesson 4. In this lesson, students will be exposed to more complex concepts and problem sums, allowing them to hone their analytical and problem-solving skills further.

Comparison of Area in Terms of Units: Understanding how to compare different areas using units as a measure. This foundational knowledge is essential for comprehending more complex geometrical problems.
Area and Perimeter with Stacking Models: We’ll explore geometry problem-sums that require the application of model drawing.
Area and Perimeter Involving Folded Figures: Students will learn to calculate areas and perimeters of shapes that undergo transformations due to folding.

In Lesson 41, we will continue to revise and prepare our students for the upcoming year-end exams. Our approach will use the Matrix Math revision resource “Select Papers“.
