Primary 1 Lesson 42

This week, we will embark on a comprehensive revision of previously taught topics and concepts. This revision is crucial in ensuring that our students have a strong grasp of fundamental knowledge.

Multiplication and Division
Time

Primary 2 Lesson 42

This week, we will be introducing the basic concepts of geometry. The focus will be on applying shapes and understanding straight lines, curves, flat surfaces, and curved surfaces. This will lay the foundation for further exploration and learning in the field of geometry.

This lesson is designed to be relatively easy for the students, as it aims to provide them with a solid understanding of the fundamental elements of geometry. We expect the students to grasp these concepts quickly and complete the assigned tasks ahead of time. This will allow us to utilise class time for additional practice and revision.

Primary 3 Lesson 42

This week, we will embark on a comprehensive revision of previously taught topics and concepts.

The topics and concepts we will cover are:

Fractions
Area and perimeter
Whole numbers
Angles
Money
Time

Primary 4 Lesson 42

This week, we will take a break from problem sums and explore two exciting geometry topics: Nets and Symmetry.

Nets: Students will learn how a two-dimensional net can be folded into a three-dimensional shape. This will help them visualise and better understand the structure of 3D objects.
Symmetry: Students will practise identifying lines of symmetry in irregular shapes and work on shading figures on grids to achieve symmetrical patterns.

This lesson aims to strengthen spatial awareness and visual reasoning, important skills in geometry.

Primary 5 Lesson 42

In Lesson 42, we will continue to revise and prepare our students for the upcoming year-end exams. Our approach will use the Matrix Math revision resource “Select Papers“.

“Select Papers” is a compilation of concepts and topics commonly examined across various schools. It has consistently proven to be an effective tool in preparing students for their upcoming exams. During Lesson 41, we will cover a broad spectrum of these essential concepts.

Furthermore, the lesson’s “Additional Practice Paper” enhances our student’s preparation for the coming exams.
