Primary 1 Lesson 20

This is a revision lesson under P1 Select 4, consolidating key topics from the Primary 1 curriculum. Students work through a broad mix of problem types across operations, comparison, word problems, and geometry.

Revise ordinal numbers and positional language in queue-based problems
Apply more than and fewer than reasoning to identify and solve comparison problems
Reinforce part-whole and change structures in single-step word problems
Practise multi-step word problems requiring sequential addition to find a combined total
Strengthen number sense through digit-sum reasoning and unknown number identification
Consolidate recognition of 2D shapes and how they form composite figures

Primary 2 Lesson 20

This lesson is a revision lesson under Select 3, consolidating key Primary 2 topics across number, operations, measurement, and word problems. Students practise applying the right operation structure across a broad range of problem types under timed conditions.

Revise place value of 3-digit numbers including digit value and positional understanding
Apply part-whole and change structures to single-step word problems involving length and mass
Reinforce comparison reasoning using more than, fewer than, and difference relationships
Practise times as many problems requiring multiplication and division to find unknown quantities
Strengthen multi-step problem solving by chaining two or more operations sequentially
Consolidate time calculations involving elapsed duration

Primary 3 Lesson 20

This is a revision lesson under Select 4, consolidating core Primary 3 topics across number operations, word problems, and higher-order reasoning. Students work through a wide range of structured problem types requiring careful operation selection and multi-step thinking.

Revise place value and remainder concepts within division, including quotient-and-remainder interpretation
Apply part-whole and equal sharing structures to multi-step problems involving money and quantities
Reinforce comparison transfer reasoning, identifying how much must move between quantities to achieve a new difference
Practise equal units thinking in problems where a total is distributed across unequal groups
Strengthen rate and grouping logic through problems involving repeated cost, packing with remainders, and interval patterns
Consolidate sum and difference relationships to find two unknowns simultaneously

Primary 4 Lesson 20

This lesson builds foundation in Geometry 1, introducing students to the core concepts of angles, parallel lines, and perpendicular lines. Students learn to identify, measure, and construct geometric relationships using a protractor and set square.

Introduce naming and identifying angles using correct geometric notation, including vertex labelling and angle naming conventions
Learn to identify and count pairs of parallel lines in given figures using set square and ruler
Practise constructing parallel lines through a given point using proper geometric tools
Introduce perpendicular lines and train students to mark and identify right-angle relationships within figures
Practise constructing perpendicular lines accurately to a given line
Reinforce measuring angles using a protractor, applying inner and outer scale selection correctly

Primary 5 Lesson 20
